The astral energy continued its vigorous flow through his body, and when she finally landed and clenched her stomach, his body was already breaching the distance that yawned between himself and her. Then a strange ability was used, and an eletrical field (and waterdrops?) barraged him from all sides upon breaching her perimeter. It was ignored, it hardly phased his unwavering countenance, and the astral amass still abundant in swallowing its boundless power only increased the percentage moreso than before. Just as she was rising and preparing to draw her blade while speaking, the titanic right hand fell from above and crashed into the ground just two meters infront of her. The result? Several sharp spires and boulders were hurled at her faster than average, they carried the intention to rip her apart and break bones upon brutal contact. And within his eyes glowed the intention to kill, the preparations were made to take this woman's life End....

[Rin-]

Joy took the blow to her midsection, hitting the ground rougher than she wanted to, but it left quite the distance between the two. She ended up rolling to her side, holding her stomach while moving to her knees, keeping her eyes on the man at all times and ignoring the small trickle of cold blood seeping out from the corner of her mouth. "Maybe that was the point..." as she spoke, a hole formed in the palm of her hand, emitting lightning out within the instant. She let a bit of an uncontrollable flow surround her being, thanks to the several rain drops falling down around the two. The lightning's path reached to about a meter that circled around her as a bit of a defensive move. However, harmful strands of lightning that bounced off of the barrier she had around her charged the drops of rain, making it difficult for him to get through, perhaps. "But is that all you got..?" she questioned him while moving up to her feet, slowly unsheathing the Chokuto blade. She gripped the hilt in her right hand, lightning easily flowing and coiling around it to charge its metallic blade. "Show me what else you can do.." she taunted him. End ....

[Rin-]

As she was rising, a harsh hand by the male struck the ground. It was a good thing she was keeping her sight on him, or else she -would- have been a goner. Instead of going to unsheath Crying Tears, she jumped back and forth constantly, doing her best to dodge the oncoming boulders and rocks headed her way. Energy, however, was the major issue, as she was already suffering from internal bleeding. It was most likely not to cause her any fatal damage yet, but it caused her pain and did drain some of the energy that she needed. A pluse jumped through her chest, enabling more energy to seep through her body, especially her right arm. This, however, caused a second hole to open on her left palm, and she could feel a massive temperature change within the hollow limb, but it was for the best. As she jumped around to avoid the rocks, thick strands of lightning were left behind, and she soon made the pattern of a half-circle in front of the man before finally landing beside him a couple of meters away. From the energy rushing through her body, she was able to gather enough dark energy to form black wisps around her knees and her right wrist. "Shadow burst." she muttered while rushing towards him at a much quicker speed than before; to be more specific, the speed of sound. She quickly wrapped her right hand around the hilt of the Crying Tears; at that point, she was just beside the man. She unsheathed the blade at the same speed, the speed of sound, and struck it at an upper diagonal strike, slicing his body in two if he hadn't moved in enough time. End ....

[Rin-]

Dustin roard magnificantly from way over yonder the plains. His booming voice even forced the thunder to bow before his gracious manifestation of hatred spewing from the very essence of his being. Lightning streaked across the sky, giving only a glance of Dustin's face before being encombered by shadows once more. His crimson silk locks and simple black cut off vest with matching hakama were seen for a split second. Not even the massive Metashi gauntlets upon his arms could be seen from the darkness, even with the sudden light. "THAT'S MY WOMAN YOU'RE WITH!" He roared once more before reaching behind his massive 7'5" figure to take hold of the Nightmare Breakers two foot long handle to pull forth the 8 foot long breaker-type sword. It was single edged and compressed of Metashi. This is all that was needed for the split second as he watched such animosity formulate between his stomach; and THE loser talking with his loser. His blade soared angrily down to strike the ground and then out of no where the sheer force of strength eminating from Tetsue caused an explosion of earth before him while a fissure erupted. This fissure was rather full of the malevolence that seemed to sync with he, cutting through the ground while exploding the ground on either side as it went right inbetween the two. Ground and dirt would try and throw the two away from each other for a temporary seperation as the top dawg he had come to save the day. Yay! "Patty cake, patty cake~" He coo'd as another streak of lightning crossed the skies. End ...

[Rin-]

He found himself scaling a grassy plain in which was filled with the stench of the rain. Clouds floated above his head and stared down at him angerly as they dropped liquid atop of his head, or attempted to. He walked about with his eyes closed but his ears tuned into every sound that was emitted around the area. How lucky he was, he was close enough to a fight and whats even more lucky He knew the opponents, all of them. He sighed more with the explosions he saw and witnessed, quickly reaching for the hilt of his katana which was along his right side of his waist and forced it into the rain. He was about 30 feet from them but, he could still see what was going on with ease. As his sword touched the air, circles began to be drawn from the energy released and immediately Caused a wide-scale explosion of energy and waves to appear across the horizon, aiming for the 'hero' in this case. Such energy was giving off a wide array of colors, similar to the color spectrum. This would've taken no time to reach the foe, but at the time, had enough power to force the foe from what he was doing, "Alright hero!" End .....

[Rin-]

At the failed attempt to slice him, Joy knew she was done for good, but luck paid its toll to her once again as he jumped in from pretty much out of nowhere to save her from the uppercut. she quickly moved beside Dustin, but something else was amiss. Some feet across the battlefield, another man had decided to step into battle, and he was already charging his attack, and any second would be the second for him to strike. Without thinking, she pushed him out of the way, taking the hit of the attack for him as her final play in the battle End ...

Yet instill he continued to invoke his stroe total strength results in the Juggernaut evolution. Harnessing twelve percent of his true power, Dustin continued to augment his body to handle the vast plethora of astral strength. In that evolution, he became all but immune to physical assaults. Blades would snap when connecting with him; hammers and maces would shatter against the superior force of his skin. And more importantly his resistance to the arcane became superb, minimizing damage from what normally is relatively powerful techniques into naught but scratches. Hence his strength and speed are once again amplified into unimaginable heights, and just as Joy is saved...she dies. She escapes the uppercut, but soon the arm lowers and a spot where her body once existed...that's right...her body was no longer physically present. The sheer power which he bore was enough to completely wipe her from the physical plane, and send her into the world of the afterlife End .....

[Rin-]

Joy looked casually to Dustin as the sun arose behind him epically, casting a shadow over him. He placed his sword atop his shoulder as he closed his eyes with a smirk. "I will come back to avenge my love...but not today...not this day." He said before walking into the distance.

A soul in and of itself is a unique gathering of astral energy affixed to its respective being that, by default, is self-perpetuating. It is important to maintain distinction between the spirit, consciousness, and soul; one represents faith, one represents acknowledgment of self and one's surroundings, and one represents existence. In light of such a principle, the magnanimous shift of astral pressure within his system caused bio electric bolts to sprint across his body just as the blade initiated its attack. The attack struck him firmly, and the result was indeed shocking. An explosion rocked gaia, and the world was the stage to a truly wonderful conflict. And upon the slashes end, Perseus would finally realize the extent of his damage. Blood hardly dripped from his body, and the sword had been halted by the stalwart armor that was his body. Because of such, the moment the blade slammed into his body and was unable to cut through him, his right hand only rose from below, an uppercut that aimed directly for her chest cage. The very final blow. Their close proximity and coincidental situation in which his fist was in the perfect position from its slam into the ground,the blow was capable of leveling a mountain...he no longer held back in strength. This strike of a fist would be one for the record books, and it was accompanied with visual astral electricity which danced across hs fist upon preparation for contact. end
